The year 2013 has been a fortunate year for some of the artists, technicians and producers of Kannada cinema industry.

32 Kannada films out of 130 Kannada films reached to a good status. This is also because of TV channels giving bumper to quite a few films.
The successful films list are – Charminar, Myna, Simple Agi Ondh Love Story, Bachchan, Bul Bul, Googly, Jayammana Maga, Lucia, 6-5=2, Raaja Huli, Bhajarangi, Victory, Shravani Subramanya, Varadanayaka, Veerappan Attahasa, Devraane, Padhe Padhe, Veera, Jataayu, Madarangi, Aane Pataki, Election, Auto Raaja, Chandra, Chella Pilli, Whistle, Silk Sakkath Hot Maga, Agamya, Shatru, Brindavana, Jatta, Jeethu, Chaddi Dosth, Dyavre are the films that comforted the producers.
Three best newcomers who made it to the success mark are Shwetha Srivatsav, Shruthi Hariharan and Rachita Ram. Krishna alias Sunil of ‘Madarangi’ was among boys was good. Dhananjay of ‘DSP’ left a good feel.
The year definitely belongs to challenging star Darshan. His ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ released on November1, 2012 reached one year. The topmost grosser and it has even beaten ‘Mungaru Male’. Darshan film ‘Bul Bul’ was excellent and ‘Brindavana’ was slightly low in collection. He is the No.1 of the year no doubt.
Second top winner of 2013 was Yash – he has reached to the super stardom in the year 2013 with all his films doing well. Googly and Raaja Huli are super hits.
